Product Roadtest - We Are Memory Keepers Page Protectors

So I may be a little late to this revolution - but I have just found and love the We R Memory Keepers (WRMK) page protectors, and there are many reasons why I love them.

Firstly - I am a taker of many, many photos. The photos that I've shown here are from my friend's Jaynus and Mel's wedding where I took a whopping 412 photos. There were so many great shots that I wanted to use in my album, but the thought of individually scrapping these left me feeling rather overwhelmed.

The WRMK page protectors, allowed me the oppotunity to finish scrapping the bulk of Mel's wedding in a matter of hours.

Secondly - I love that that WRMK mix it up - you're not restricted as to the types of photos you take. Vertical, horizontal, 4x6" or larger or smaller photos - the WRMK page protectors are really versatile. I really enjoyed being able to incorporate lots of journalling as well. Not only do I take a lot of photos but I have a lot to say!

Thirdly I know that these page protectors will go the distance. Made of ultra-clear, super heavyweight polypropylene with durable, reinforced edges. You can feel their quality as soon as you open the packet.

We will have WRMK page protectors available for sale at our upcoming retreat in May - that is, if I don't keep them all for myself!

April Challenge Entries

How exciting! We have some entries for our April Scrap Challenge!
You can check out our criteria here, but to refresh your memories the layout needs:

1) Journalling - there must be some journalling incorporated into your layout
2) Twine - you will need to use some twine on your layout
3) Inspiration - your layout needs to take its inspiration from the image below, that could mean the colour palette you choose, or the incorporation of an egg on your page, or a splatter effect - the ideas are endless, can't wait to see what you do :-)

And here are our first 3 entries!

Mia | by Pam Casey

I'm In Here | by Gillian Hume

Easter Chick | by Kirsten Casey
Fabulous! It's not too late to enter - you have until May 20 to send us your entry via email. So get scrapping and you could win goodies!

Scrap Marathon

Last weekend Dizzy Izzy was fortunate enough to be part of the Scrap Marathon run by the Creative Crafts Group at Rockdale Salvos.

We had a little pop up shop, and scrapped on Friday night and then back again to scrap some more on Saturday.  As usual, the standard of scrapping was incredible. I'm always so impressed with what people create!

Congratulation must go to Jan, who won the sketch competition - well done!

The group meet on the 1st Friday of every month, at the Salvation Army Centre @ Rockdale. The crafters are usually there from 7pm until late - sometimes REALLY late. If you want to meet some friendly people and put some more time into scrapping then you should come by. All crafts are welcome, from cards, scrapping and knitting to sewing.
